Puerto Vallarta’s International Convention Center hosted a gala Thursday night, March 26, 2026, for the 10th edition of the Food and Travel Reader Awards, honoring top Mexican gastronomy and travel experiences from 2025.

The Government of Jalisco, through the Ministry of Tourism, has announced the 2026 edition of Downhill Puerto Vallarta, scheduled for May 1 and 2, 2026. The competition will gather top global athletes before an estimated audience of 20,000 spectators.

A new chapter is about to open in the Versalles neighborhood as entrepreneur Kor’ Prieur Caille prepares to launch The Red Door, the neighborhood’s first gay bar and a major milestone for the growing LGBTQ+ presence beyond the city’s traditional nightlife zones. The bar (located at Hamburgo 156 C, Versalles) announced a soft opening week starting Sunday, March 22, 2026, and a Grand Opening on Friday, March 27, at 7 p.m.

More than 200 people attended the Gay+ Mixer at Kathleen Carrillo Galleries and Ron Morgan Properties (Olas Altas 509, Amapas, Zona Romántica) on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
