The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board has announced the destination’s event schedule for March and April 2026. The lineup features major celebrations of culture, art, gastronomy, tourism, sports, and health, expected to draw thousands of visitors as spring arrives in Puerto Vallarta.
The event schedule is as follows:
- VINOMA Fest 2026 (March 5–7): A premier wine and food pairing festival featuring over 50 national and international wineries by the sea. This year’s program includes tastings, culinary showcases by renowned international chefs, and a golf tournament in the days leading up to the main event.

- Gala Puerto Vallarta & Riviera Nayarit (March 10–12): Held at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center, the 31st edition of this event brings together major trade partners from ten countries—including Canada, the U.S., and Mexico—with local hoteliers and tourism service providers.

- FairyLand Puerto Vallarta 2026 (March 12–15): The second annual queer house music festival at Mantamar Beach Club. Produced by Brian Kent Productions, it features four consecutive days of international DJs, pool parties, and beach vibes.

- Spring Jazz Festival (March 12–22): Live music fills the air at the Los Muertos Pier. This traditional festival offers 10 days of free outdoor performances by leading jazz artists.
- Damajuana Raicilla Festival (March 13–15): Now in its 9th edition, this event celebrates the region’s signature spirit at the Vallarta Institute of Culture (IVC) on the eastern end of the Cuale River Island, featuring local producers and live entertainment. Free admission.
- PVR Michelada Festival (March 14–15): The 3rd edition of this festival moves to the Puerto Mágico Maritime Terminal this year, featuring over 30 exhibitors showcasing the iconic drink and regional cuisine. The event also features live music, Michelada contests and activities.

- Exphotel Vallarta 2026 (March 18–20): Over 200 hospitality suppliers will present products and services to approximately 2,500 potential buyers at the International Convention Center.
- Sports Weekend (March 21–22): Cycling enthusiasts can join the Ruta Turística Puerto Vallarta 2026 (21k, 72k, and 100k routes) on March 21, while runners can participate in the SEAPAL Vallarta Half Marathon and 5k race on March 22.
- Food & Travel Reader Awards (March 26): The International Convention Center pulls out all the stops to host the 30th edition of these awards, honoring excellence in Mexico’s culinary and hospitality industries.
April Highlights:
- Concerts: An A-list lineup at the VidantaWorld esplanade features Christian Nodal (April 9) and Marco Antonio Solís (April 30). Six-time Latin GRAMMY® winner Kany García will perform at the International Convention Center esplanade on April 26.
- UTMB® World Series (April 16–18): For the fourth time, Puerto Vallarta hosts the world’s most iconic trail running series, attracting top athletes from 42 countries.
- Puerto Vallarta Marathon 2026 (April 19): The 7th edition features a revamped course through the city’s most iconic landmarks, starting and ending at the Malecón Arches. Categories include the full marathon (42k), half marathon (21k), and recreational 5k/10k races.

- Medical Conventions: The month concludes with three major congresses: the National Pediatric Congress (April 22–25, 3,000 specialists), the Mexican Society of Pediatric Neurology (April 27–May 2), and the National Congress of Otolaryngology (April 28–May 2), featuring speakers from Germany, the U.S., India, and Italy.
With this steady stream of activity, Puerto Vallarta aims to solidify its position as the premier destination on the Mexican Pacific, generating significant economic impact for the local community.
