Welcome to the Fall 2024 issue of Out & About Puerto Vallarta. As we celebrate our seventh season, we're excited to usher in a new wave of entertainment in Puerto Vallarta.

Jet's Private Boat Tours, recently crowned Best Gay Boat Tour at the Best of Gays Awards, is setting the standard for personalized adventures in Puerto Vallarta's breathtaking Banderas Bay.

Jalisco-born chef, Roman Ventura, voted Puerto Vallarta’s “Best Gay Chef”, is a proud member of the Gay+ community.  Graduating from chef school 10 years ago, he created Ventura Chef Services, a private chef, in-home dining experience for people living or visiting Puerto Vallarta. 

For going on nine years, Blondies has been holding down the corner of Amapas and Pulpito, serving ice cold adult slushies and tasty cocktails to thirsty patrons and passersby. Recently, Blondies was named the winner of the best happy hour in the Best of Gays Awards.

Taraka Yoga is owned by Mark Hanuman. The space exudes a brightness and positivity that is contagious. Mark hails from Baltimore, but has lived in Mexico since 2012. He discovered Yoga due to a life altering event, which very nearly was a life ending event.

Ryan Donner was recently crowned Best Gay Realtor at the Best of Gays Awards. Donner isn't just an individual realtor; he's the driving force behind the phenomenal success of Donner and Associates, a company built on a foundation of exceptional service, community spirit, and genuine human connection.

In Puerto Vallarta, where the ocean meets the jungle, Jet De la Isla stands out as a pioneering force in the LGBTQ+ tourism industry. With a diverse portfolio of businesses that include a clothing-optional beach, the highest rated LGBT+ boat charter company on TripAdvisor, Mexico’s first gay youth hostel, founder of the largest online gay community Facebook group, a new mezcal beach bar, and as a board of director for the new LGBTQ+ community center, Jet has carved a niche for himself in this tropical paradise.

Cassandra Shaw Jewelry has won the First Annual We Are Puerto Vallarta Favorite Jewelry Shop Award, and was named as a finalist for the coveted Best Business Award.
