A day of tacos, music and community celebration is set for Sunday, March 29, as the Puerto Vallarta Taco Fair returns with more than 20 vendors, 40-plus taco varieties and activities for families and visitors alike.
Organizers have announced the ninth edition of the Puerto Vallarta Taco Fair, taking place on March 29, 2026, from 2 to 11 p.m. at Parque Parota (located on Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio, between Hotel Puerto de Luna and Plaza Caracol). The event will feature stands from over 20 restaurants specializing in this iconic Mexican dish, offering a wide variety of meat and seafood options.
The Taco Fair is held in celebration of National Taco Day (March 31), a holiday established in 2007 by the Secretary of Tourism. It is a family-friendly event with free admission, where attendees can browse participating taco stalls, sample more than 40 different styles, and enjoy live music, a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and desserts. Additionally, organizers will provide a bazaar zone, dining areas, and a children’s recreation area.

A Sneak Peek Before the Event
The Out & About PV team visited Tacos & Love (Privada Estero 3, Paseo de la Rivera) to get a taste of what they will offer during the fair. Owner Guillermo Estrada and Chef Alejandro won us over with their aguachile negro and specialty battered tacos featuring lobster, “chile güero,” tuna rinds (chicharrón de atún), and manta ray.
Guillermo—a diver for over 20 years with a passion for cooking—invites readers to try his menu this March 29 at the fair, where he will be serving battered fish, shrimp, and octopus tacos.
