ART Vallarta Hosts Final Viewing of ‘Gay Galería’ June 6
The ART Vallarta art gallery and cultural center, located at 213 Pilitas in the Zona Romántica, has announced the June 2026 edition of its monthly "First Saturday at ART Vallarta" event. Taking place Saturday, June 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., the space will open its doors to locals and visitors for free access to its current exhibition, "Gay Galería," held in commemoration of Pride Month.
Bahía de Banderas Set to Celebrate 5th Annual Pride Festival
The municipality of Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, is gearing up for its fifth annual LGBTQ+ Pride festival on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Activities will kick off with the Pride parade at the entrance of the town of San Vicente starting at 4 p.m. This year's special guest is the popular Nayarit drag queen Nayla Downs, winner of Season 7 of the Mexican drag competition La Más Draga.

The event was hosted by legendary drag queens Taiga Brava (winner of the second season of Queen of the Universe and co-host of Drag Race México), Nicky Doll (host of Drag Race France), and Carmen Farala(winner of the first season of Drag Race España). Attendees enjoyed live entertainment, beautiful pink decor, a delicious dinner, and a wonderful sunset.

As part of the Vallarta Pride 2026 festivities, 2.16 Contemporary art gallery (Constitución 216, Zona Romántica) hosted the opening reception for AMENITIES, an exhibition by Mexican photographer and visual artist Gustavo García-Villa, on the evening of Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The event was attended by the artist himself, gallery owners Orlando Santamaría and Abrajam Romero, Vallarta Pride director Javier Jiménez, and a fantastic turnout of locals and visitors alike.

More than 570 people attended our last Gay+ Mixer of the 2025–2026 season at the LGBTIQ+ luxury resort, The Tryst Puerto Vallarta (Pulpito 138, Zona Romántica), on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
