The Bahía Pride Collective has announced the details for the fifth annual Bahía de Banderas Pride, scheduled to take place Saturday, June 6, 2026, featuring La Más Draga season seven winner Nayla Downs as the event’s special guest and ambassador.
The day’s festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. with the annual pride parade. Marchers will gather on Avenida Federación near the KPetrom gas station and proceed to the main plaza in El Porvenir. The plaza will host a main stage showcasing a lineup of local talent throughout the afternoon and evening. Featured guest drag artists will include Valentine Black and Magnolia D’Doria.
Located just north of Puerto Vallarta, Bahía de Banderas is a Nayarit municipality of roughly 190,000 residents. Because it is part of the Puerto Vallarta-Bahía de Banderas interstate metropolitan area, organizers expect a high turnout of attendees traveling from both municipalities and across state lines.
Roberto Mendoza, president of the Bahía Pride Collective, said this year’s core mission is to increase LGBTQ+ visibility within the municipality. Mendoza expects more than a dozen contingents to participate in the parade, with ally vehicles arriving from Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, and Tepic to join the march.
The event is backed by corporate sponsors including Hotel Villa Varadero, Hotel Delta, Marriott Punta Mita, and Spartacus Sauna. Local institutional support is provided by the Municipal Human Rights Commission, CAPASITS Tondoroque, and the Bahía de Banderas municipal government.
For more information about the collective and the upcoming event, updates are available on their official Facebook and Instagram pages.
