Exploring Food, Love & Adventures as a Throuple
Part 4 – Continued from the Winter Edition of Out & About Magazine
Join us as we wander, taste, laugh, and love—three hearts, one adventure, savoring life’s sweetest flavors together.
Tamales, Tours & a Day at Sea with My Sister
As you can imagine, we’re never ones to say no to a day on the bay. And while we’ve always loved the iconic “Tamales Tour,” this one came with a little extra spice… and just a pinch of nerves.
Enter Chantal—Josh’s sister. Or as some lovingly call her, Josh’s twin. Not in age, but definitely in spirit. Same quick wit, same playful energy, same love of life. Which meant one thing: there was absolutely nowhere to hide.
Meeting your partner’s sister for the first time is one thing. Meeting her on a boat, in the middle of the ocean, with no escape route? That’s next-level commitment. Mau, brave as ever, leaned in, smiled big, and embraced whatever the day might bring.
And honestly? It couldn’t have gone better.
Somewhere between the tamales, the sea breeze, and a few very free-flowing “spirits,” something clicked. Mau saw firsthand where Josh gets his wild side—from backflips off the boat to that contagious, carefree energy. Jamie, of course, filled the day with stories—some heartfelt, some slightly exaggerated (depending on who you ask)—painting a picture of years of shared adventures with Chantal.
By the end of the day, it didn’t feel like a “meeting the sister” moment anymore. It felt like family—real, easy, laughter-filled family. And whether it was the magic of the ocean or just the way things are meant to unfold, we left that boat a little closer, a little fuller, and a lot more connected.
Serving Looks at Miss Conception’s “I Do”
With the wedding of the decade just weeks away, we received our very first wedding invitation… as three. No pressure, right?
The dress code? Fresh, breezy, summer chic. The guest list? A fabulous mix of Miss Conception’s world, alongside Kieran’s circle, plus a who’s who of Puerto Vallarta’s vibrant performer community. In other words, for a new-ish throuple—no room for blending in.
Over time, we’d had the chance to spend moments with Kevin and Kieran, and calling them a power couple is an understatement. These two clicked like a seatbelt in a 1970s Chevrolet—effortless, secure, and absolutely inseparable. Watching them together wasn’t just inspiring… it quietly set the bar for what we hoped to build ourselves.
Naturally, Mau had a vision: “Let’s do matching outfits.”
Because if people were going to stare (and let’s be honest, they were), we might as well give them something fabulous to look at.
And that we did.

We mingled like we’d been together forever, danced like nobody was watching (even though everyone definitely was), and posed for more photos than we can count. It felt easy. It felt right. It felt… us.
At one point during the night, someone casually asked, “So, when’s your turn to get married?”
Cue the collective pause.
Maybe it was the sunset. Maybe it was the love in the air. Or maybe it was seeing something so real and beautiful right in front of us. For the first time, the idea didn’t feel far off or impossible—it felt… possible.
A wedding. For three.
Now that’s really food for thought.

The Mexican Spirit: A Private Event to Remember
Every year, the villa we call home hosts a party for its guests—and this year, we leaned all the way in.
Picture this: a courtyard transformed, a taco stand serving up some of the best al pastor tacos and quesadillas you’ve ever tasted, and the unmistakable buzz of a night about to get memorable.
Behind the scenes? Controlled chaos.
Jamie and Mau took over the kitchen, attempting a Canadian take on Mexican rice. And by “attempting,” we mean Mau—trained chef and proud perfectionist—politely (and then not so politely) took over, schooling this güerito on the proper way to do things. Let’s just say… there were notes. And revisions. And a final product that passed inspection.
Meanwhile, Mau switched hats from chef to DJ, curating the ultimate Mexican playlist to set the tone. Josh and Jamie handled décor—stringing flags, setting tables, making sure every detail hit just right.
And then came the magic.
A surprise performance featuring Eva and Mau—an acoustic set that carried the night. Their voices blended effortlessly, filling the courtyard with something both intimate and electric. No surprise there, considering their roots. With a legendary performer as a mother, music isn’t just something they do—it’s who they are. From sold-out shows to unforgettable performances, the talent runs deep.
And Josh? Well, in true Joshua fashion, he took the theme and ran with it—cowboy hat, statement shirt, and yes… six-inch drag boots. Subtle was never the goal. Being unforgettable? Mission accomplished.
Us other two? Slightly less coordinated, but equally entertained—watching him soak up every second of the attention with that signature smile.
As these last months fly by, we’re reminded again and again that it’s these moments—the unexpected, the chaotic, the joyful—that shape this life we’re building together.
The adventures may be a little unconventional. The path not always predictable.
But one thing is certain: it will always be full of laughter, love… and just the right amount of fabulous.
And as for what’s next?
Trust us—you’ll want to come hungry.
