The Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) has announced the programming for its Puerto Vallarta extension, known as FICPV. Celebrating its 26th edition, the festival will take place from Monday, April 27, to Thursday, April 30, across various venues.

The organizers of the FESTVA International Folk Dance Festival have announced the program for its 20th edition, which will take place across various venues in Puerto Vallarta from May 1 to 9, 2026. The event will feature a total of 21 national and 5 international dance groups, bringing together 1,200 dancers.

The Municipal Government of Puerto Vallarta, through the Vallarta Institute of Culture, launched PV Art Week 2026 with the "Public Gallery of the Port" on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 15, along the Malecón. Handcrafted wood furniture factory Hyden (Colombia 1818, Col. Lazaero Cardenas) has announced one of its final events of the 2025-2026 winter-spring season. The event features an art exhibition by local artist Rodolfo Blanco titled "Mi Casa Es Mi Casa," curated by Cristhiam Castillo and taking place this Thursday, April 9, from 6 to 9 p.m.

A new spotlight is opening for local talent in Puerto Vallarta, as Selena Luna Productions launches “The New Voice of Vallarta,” a four-week singing competition presented by Villa Tita, set to take over the Coco Cabaret stage.
