Before a crowd of more than 75 people, winners were revealed on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, for the 2023 First Annual We Are Puerto Vallarta Awards at El Granero.  Hosted by Jamie Alexander, from PVRPV, and Jessy Ruiz, from Asphalt Radio, announced the finalists of the 25 categories and then named the winner.

Known as Vallarta’s most anticipated event of the year, What A Drag will take place tonight! The event will take place at Teatro Vallarta starting at 8p.m. and if you’re not in town you can check out their live stream starting at 7:45p.m. local time.  The show is presented by #WELOVEPV and Sutton Lee Seymour will serve as master of ceremonies.

On Saturday, February 6, 2026, Galería Dante will host Mexican painter Antonio Bárcena as part of the South Side Shuffle art walk. Located in the heart of the Zona Romántica, the gallery—one of the city's longest-standing art spaces—invites the public to view Bárcena’s latest work and engage with the artist in an evening featuring live music and cocktails.

The We Are Puerto Vallarta Awards, sponsored by PVRPV, will culminate in a special event on April 10th, 2024, at El Granero, starting at 7 pm.  The community at large and all nominees are invited to attend.
