Any Elton John fans out there?
I have been one for years, and I thoroughly enjoyed attending The Rocketman with Daniel Celis performing as Elton John at The Palm.
The energy in the room was palpable, as the lighting, costumes, background videos of Elton from the 1970’s, and above all else Daniel’s incredible performance as Elton John set the tone for a show that had the audience craving more.
Produced by Sebastion Le Page with SL Productions, the fast paced, memory filled show went off without a hitch.
Joined onstage at various intervals by Mariela Ponce, who performed beautifully as a ballerina while Daniel sang Tiny Dancer.
At another point in the Elton John tribute show, an audience member named Charlie donned a red wig and joined “Elton John” for a fun filled duet of Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, recalling the wonderful corroboration with Kiki Dee from 1976.
The selections were heavily concentrated on Elton John’s outrageously popular hits from the 1970’s, though the powerfully uplifting 1983 hit I’m Still Standing rocked the house as well. You won’t want to miss a moment of The Rocketman featuring the amazingly talented showman Daniel Celis.
You can catch The Rocketman show, every Wednesday, starting at 6:00 p.m.. Tickets start at $756.77 pesos. Enjoy.
