An enthusiastic crowd of friends and admirers packed into ParrotFish restaurant on the evening of March 8th 2024, to celebrate the release of Billboard Recording Artist Brian Kent’s uplifting new single, “Carry Your Light.”
The deeply emotional song, which speaks to the profound sentiment of being there for someone you deeply care about when they need you the most, captivated the audience on a profound level, touching all who came to celebrate Brian’s success.
A who’s who of the gay PV social scene was on hand to mark the special occasion. As a DJ mixed it up with an array of diverse music, waiters clad in colorful floral shirts offered delightful appetizers, as guests sipped craft cocktails that were utterly amazing.
The ultra modern, yet elegantly chic ParrotFish was the perfect venue for the large gathering of well wishers on hand. The restaurant, located at Venustiano Carranza 212, Emiliano Zapata, is a hidden gem that truly shines. The highlight of the evening was Brian’s flawless rendition of his new song, “Carry Your Light.” Bringing the inspirational lyrics to life with his passionate delivery, he brought down the house in a climax of thunderous applause.
Later in the evening, Brian was kind enough to offer a quote to OAPV readers on the special evening, and what the song means to him. “I’m so glad this night is finally here,” Brian said with a smile, “I’ve been working on it for over a year, and I’m just super excited to share the song with everyone,” he stated.
