Yaye Monroy took home top honors in the recent Lipsync Assassin competition held at Industry Nightclub.
The showcase of local drag talent had Joy 2.0 capturing second place, Lola Drag, third place, and La Chavita PV, also known as Spinnel Fancy, took fourth place.
The event highlighted the importance of the drag community as a platform for creativity and self-expression, while emphasizing inclusivity and supporting diversity. It was presented by Top Sky Bar along with Industry and ALMAR Resort, and hosted by Alex Moran.
The Lipsync Assassin competition, enjoyed the sponsorships of MantaMar, Daiquiri Dick’s, Meraky and Taste Restaurant (click here for video and here).
The final of “Lipsync Assassin” was more than a contest: it was a celebration of drag identity and culture, demonstrating its relevance in the social fabric of Puerto Vallarta.
