Out & About Puerto Vallarta (O&APV) has been selected by ACT LGBT A.C. (the LGBT association of commerce and tourism that puts on the annual Vallarta Pride festival, to produce the official 2019 Vallarta Pride Guide.
“We are excited to partner with O&APV to bring this great entertainment and informational magazine to our many visitors for Vallarta Pride,” said Charlie Rubio, Vallarta Pride President. “The guide is an important tool to not only help market the festival, but also serve to provide much needed information on the events, and entertainment that the festival will produce.”
The 2019 Vallarta Pride Guide will feature stories about the history of Vallarta Pride, the Drag Derby, a full schedule of events, and profiles of all entertainers. It will also include a handy walking map for visitors to refer to. It will be available in print, and online at www.outandaboutpv.com.
The full-size magazine will be on stands in early May, 2019, and will stay on stands for May, June, July and August, acting as the quarterly summer issue for O&APV. The magazine is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Deadline to advertise in the special Vallarta Pride Guide is April 19th, 2019. Prices start as low as $1,000 pesos.
“Space is limited and we are encouraging anyone who wishes to welcome the thousands of visitors that come to Puerto Vallarta for pride to book their ad early,” said Gerwin Rutten, sales and marketing for O&APV. “Less than 50% of the guide will be set aside for advertising, with the rest of the content focused on the pride festival and other things that will help our many visitors enjoy their stay in Puerto Vallarta.”
“The issue will not only serve as a great information guide to Vallarta Pride, but also as a way to welcome the LGBT visitors to Puerto Vallarta. So we felt it’s really important to not just limit distribution to the pride month. We hope many visitors will pick up the issue and make plans to visit the festival next year.” said Alejandro Chavez, general manager and editor.
