Editor’s Note: O&APV shares our sorrow with the departure of PVs dear friend and professional Danny Mininni. We recognize the wonderful work he did in the world of entertainment in Puerto Vallarta. We send our prayers and love for his family, friends and the great performers at Act2PV.
Danny Mininni was very loved, and as news of his death spread, many friends joined in sending condolences on social media. We share a few of those here:

We are all shocked and saddened by the news that Danny Mininni, one of the founding partners and driving forces at ACT2PV has passed away. Our sincere condolences to the performers, the staff and Danny’s family and friends.

“Who you are today is not who you will be tomorrow” -Danny Minnini, something he always loved to say to me. Something I’ll always remember. 
Danny had his doubts about me, I had my doubts about him. But we both started to grow on eachother and there was a respect and common goal that fueled our relationship. He liked to push me, tease me, and remind me who I was. He wanted me to be successful and I wanted Act2 to be successful.
I only knew him for a year, but this last year was one of the most stressful years for both of us. In the last week I was at Act2 everyday performing. The last time I saw him he was going to console the family of Victor, who’s father had just passed away. He was extremely protective of his chosen family, as am I.
Things will be difficult, they will be different, but through it all I know that Act2PV will come together as a family.

I am bereft from the news that my friend and boss at Act2PV theater, Danny Minnini, passed away. He touched many lives and slapped a few along the way. He would always introduce me before my shows and if he got a laugh boy he was happier than a hooker at a republican convention. Tonight I am going on stage in his honor. He would always want the show to go on, but it is going to be tough. He was from that old school theater mentality whether your parents died right before the show or a tidal wave was about to hit the show must go on!!!!! I dedicate tonight to you danny. Thanks for giving me a life beyond my wildest dreams.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Danny Mininni, the co-owner/founding partner of Act2PV and a pioneer of the entertainment scene in Puerto Vallarta. He was a very special man who meant very much to me and many others in Puerto Vallarta. He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all of those who are part of the Act2PV family of friends.

Nicole Deutsch Schiff and I are shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of my childhood best friend/next door neighbor. Danny Mininni.
We reconnected in PV 11 years ago and have been able to stay in contact and visit with the family on a yearly basis until Covid 19 hit. Here are some of the greatest memories/pictures Nicole, I and our children will cherish forever. Thank you Danny for introducing us to your Act2PV family and sharing them with us. What a wonderful legacy to leave behind.
We love you beyond words and will miss you dearly. Until we meet again buddy.

Today is a sad day for all the entertainment in PV, we can barely assimilate the shocking news.
We’ve lost a pioneer of the entertainment in Puerto Vallarta, and with our hearts broken we send our deepest condolences to all the staff and artists of the Act 2 family in this great loss!
RIP Danny Mininni.
