A Joyous Holiday Celebration With Puerto Vallarta Gay Men’s Chorus (PVGMC)

PVGMC 2023 Holiday Concert

The Puerto Vallarta Gay Men’s Chorus (PVGMC), directed by Adrian Fuentes, held it’s holiday concert, a Very Broadway Christmas, at The Palm Cabaret on Dec. 16, and 17, 2023. 

Janathan Rios hosted the 11th annual celebration of holiday music.

PVGMC opened up with various themes on Fal La La, followed by Jingle Bell Rock, Stille Nacht, You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch and Sleigh Ride.

After a short intermission, Guest Artist Patriz sang In My Dreams, A Change in Me and What Baking Can Do.

Returning to the stage, PVGMC sang Fum, Fum, Fum; A la Nanita Nana, Carnavalito, Ding a Ding and ended the performance with Patriz returning and the full cast singing Seasons of Love.

The pianist for the show was Adriana Martinez. PVGMC tenors included Jerry Fausto, Frank Cassei, Luis Ramirez, Hector Conde; Baritones were Scott Patterson, Jeff Luce, Bing Young; Bass was Eduardo Perez. 

PVGMC was formed to creates musical experiences that entertain, enlighten, and inspire. Through their performances, they hope to build bridges of understanding, acceptance and love in the community.

Founded in 2012, PVGMC is a bilingual, cross-cultural chorus with members from Mexico, Canada, the United States, and around the world.The Puerto Vallarta Gay Men’s Chorus is the first organization of its kind in Mexico and all of Latin America, and a proud member of GALA Choruses (www.galachoruses.org), a worldwide organization that represents over 8,000 singers and over 170 choruses around the world.
