For the second year in a row, the local male burlesque group Boys on Fire, has produced a 2023 calendar to raise money for two local charities.
Money Raised Will Benefit the ‘Canica’ Foundation’, a center that helps children with cancer and and Casa Hogar Máximo Cornejo.
You may be familiar with the men from their show at The Palm, Boys on Fire International – that show, under the direction of Sebastian Coronel, brings together a cast of sexy men from Argentina, Mexico , Venezuela and Columbia.
With a suggested minimum donation of $200 pesos, you’ll get not only a sexy calendar for 2023 but you’ll help two local charities.
“100 percent of the funds raised will be donated to charity,” Coronel told O&APV. “50 percent of the funds will go to CANICA and 50 percent will go to Casa Hogar Máximo Cornejo.”
CANICA is a center that helps children with cancer. Casa Hogar Máximo Cornejo offers refuge to displaced children due to abandonment, domestic violence, etc.
Last year – the first year of their calendar – they donated $13,000 pesos to charity.
“It’s our way of saying thank you to the people, the universe and life for the support we have received with the show, giving back a little help to people who may need it in difficult times.” he explained.
Calendars are available at The Palm Cabaret and Hotel Mercurio.
“We want to be sure to thank Boys On Fire International Show sponsors Studs Bear Bar, Hotel Mercurio, Bar La Noche, GAYPV Magazine, Eddy Araiza photographer, Juan Carlos Ramirez Ruiz calendar design, Pepe Valtierra Cruz cover design, Luis Shuls and Joel Jordan costume designers, Mercurio Swim and The Palm Cabaret and Bar for their contributions to make the calendar possible.”
The show is every Sunday 9:30 pm at The Palm Cabaret and Bar. Get your show tickets here.
