Mexican Group Raíces Wins Talent Contest, ‘So You Think You Can Rise’

With an audience of more than 800 people watching, the Mexican group Raíces took home the top prize of $10,000 pesos after being voted by the audience as the winner of the talent contest So You Think You Can Rise, which was held Feb. 26, 2023 at Teatro Theater in Puerto Vallarta.
Introducing January 8th Preliminary Show contestant Edgar Omar Patiño Zavala. Edgar is from a small town in Guerrero, Mexico. He has been performing with his family music group since 2010. Edgar's specialty is Mexican ballads and classical music.
