In Europe there were 13 events: 7 seminars and 2 exhibitions and in Latin America 28 events were attended, these being 23 seminars, 2 expos and 3 fairs. To all this we must add 11 webinars for consultants in different parts of the world.

FAMILIARIZATION TRIPS

The familiarization trips to the destination are continuous, in 2019 the Promotion team received 63 fams for the consolidation of different segments with a range of 2654 trained advisors, which allows us to potentiate the sale and strengthen support of travel experts.

In June alone, 13 groups were received from Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Brazil … and others from Canada, England and California, USA.

Although the emphasis is placed on natural markets, the constancy has allowed other doors such as those in Latin America to be opened, with familiarization trips from practically the entire continent, taking advantage of the connectivity with the direct flight of Copa Airlines from Panama City that fulfilled a year this december.

The press trips were 54 in total with an attention for 345 people. 47 were press trips as such, with journalists and photographers and 7 more were photoshoots with production teams of prestigious international magazines where reports of the destination were published as Sports Illustrated, Elle Canada, Fashion Magazine, Nylon and Gregory.

By market these were 18 trips from Mexico, the same number from the United States and Canada, 8 from Europe and 10 more trips from Central and South America.

GREATER CONNECTIVITY

In 2019, the Phoenix and Querétaro air routes opened with Volaris as well as Viva Aerobús from Tijuana. New routes of the Canadian airline Swoop were opened internationally from Winnipeg, Hamilton and Abbotsford, Canada.
