Diners across Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit will have a chance to sample dozens of restaurants at reduced prices later this month as the region’s annual Restaurant Week returns with more than 50 participating venues and a multiweek lineup of fixed-price menus aimed at boosting business during the late-spring slowdown.
The organizers of the annual culinary festival Restaurant Week announced details for the event’s 22nd edition during a press conference held at Mesón Ibérico in Marina Vallarta on the morning of Monday, May 4, 2026.
This year, 51 restaurants from Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit will participate, offering diners three-course menus at reduced prices from May 15 to June 10.
Jorge Chávez, executive director of Restaurant Week, explained that the participating establishments are divided into three menu price categories: $495, $575, and $690 MXN (prices do not include drinks or gratuity). He highlighted the wide variety of cuisines available, including Mexican, Spanish, Asian, and French, among others. Of the total participants, 35 restaurants are located in Puerto Vallarta, while the remaining 16 are in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit.
During the conference, Michelle Fridman, Jalisco’s Secretary of Tourism, emphasized the event’s importance in boosting the local economy during a challenging month for restaurateurs. She encouraged residents and domestic visitors to explore the city’s vast culinary offerings.
“It is a testament to the diversity of Puerto Vallarta, housing culinary gems that range from beachfront restaurants to signature ‘cocina de autor’ cuisine,” she noted.

Pedro Segade, General Manager of the host restaurant Mesón Ibérico, expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the event for the first time. He invited the public to discover their specific menu, which falls under the $690 MXN category and will feature authentic Spanish specialties.
For his part, organizer Juan Pablo Hernández highlighted the fact that 51 restaurants are participating this year, noting that the event’s all-time record was 60, prior to the pandemic.
“We are happy to be approaching that number,” he concluded.
