Puerto Vallarta welcomed 16 top-performing travel advisors affiliated with the HBX Group from July 16-19 as part of a familiarization trip designed to promote the destination to travelers seeking LGBTQ+-friendly experiences.
The advisors, recognized for their high sales through Bedsonline, HBX Group’s global hotel booking platform, traveled from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Aguascalientes, Cancún, Mérida and Veracruz. HBX Group connects thousands of travel agencies, tour operators and hotels worldwide.

The trip, organized in partnership with Almar Resort and Bedsonline, introduced the advisors to many of Puerto Vallarta’s signature attractions and tourism experiences. The program was designed to strengthen relationships with travel professionals who play a key role in selling the destination.
The itinerary included an outdoor adventure at Canopy Los Veranos, dining at Café des Artistes and the Rhythms of the Night experience by Vallarta Adventures, which combines a nighttime boat excursion with an outdoor theatrical performance on a secluded beach.

During their stay, the group toured Almar Resort, visited The Top Sky Bar, spent time at Mantamar Beach Club and experienced the recently opened 888 Connection Wellness Spa, which features an Energy Bar and fitness center.
The advisors also explored Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone, the city’s LGBTQ+ entertainment district and one of its most popular tourist areas. Transportation and logistics for the visit were coordinated by DMC Terramar.
Puerto Vallarta tourism officials said the familiarization trip is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with travel advisors and highlight the destination’s growing portfolio of hospitality, wellness and entertainment offerings for LGBTQ+ travelers.
