The lounge bar One Six One will celebrate half a decade of providing a welcoming atmosphere for house music and LGBTQ+ social life in the Zona Romántica this Wednesday, May 13, 2026, with its fifth-anniversary party starting at 6 p.m.
Located at Rodolfo Gómez 161, the establishment will offer a night of drink specials and live performances for its loyal clientele and anyone wishing to celebrate this significant milestone.
Owners Bryan Stocks, Brian Kent, and Roger Allen opened One Six One in April 2, 2021. Inspired by “Buddha-style” bars, they created a lounge environment featuring a creative bar anchored by a central tree, house music, signature cocktails, an outdoor patio, and a terrace. The partners also own other highly popular businesses within Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romántica and the LGBTQ+ community: The Brick Oven restaurant and The Porch café.
Although the trio opened the business while Puerto Vallarta was still recovering from the effects of the pandemic, the bar’s concept was well-received by both the local community and visitors, allowing it to thrive and become a popular hangout in the area.
The 5th anniversary celebration at One Six One will also include complimentary pizza slices courtesy of The Brick Oven, a raffle, and special dining coupons, promising a festive and exciting evening for all.
