At the press conference held on Friday, June 2, 2023, Bacilia Guizar, mother of Michel Castro, issued a statement in which she expressed her anguish and despair over the disappearance of her son.
Accompanied by family, friends and members of the community, Guizar urged the authorities and society in general to unite in the search for Michel.
Guizar described Michel as a kind and loving young man, whose peaceful personality and contagious joy have left a deep impression on those who knew him.
With great emotion, the mother called on the competent authorities to act with determination and efficiency in the search for her son, asking that they spare no effort or resources to locate him and reunite him with his family.
Guizar expressed his deep appreciation for the love and solidarity they have received, and asked all those present to continue supporting them in this anguishing fight. He urged sharing Michel’s photo and story, as well as any details that may help locate him.
Likewise, Bacilia Guizar stressed the importance of respecting the course of the investigations and avoiding speculation that only increases the suffering of the family. She emphasized that every word and action must be in honor of Michel, with the sole objective of achieving his prompt appearance and reuniting him with his loved ones.
The disappearance of Michel Castro has shocked the community, and the call for the press conference sought not only to keep alive the hope of finding him, but also to request the collaboration of the media to publicize the case and broaden the search.
Michel’s family hopes that the attention generated by the press conference and the continued support of the community will contribute to the resolution of this case and the safe return of Michel to his home.
