ThrIVe offers Summer Pride Special – 20% off All Microneedling Services
If you’re looking for a new glow and ‘fresh face’ look no further than ThrIVe MedSpa, which offers microneedling, a process that helps your skin produce more collagen and elastin.
“Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin,” explained Mikel Alvarez, CEO of ThrIVe MedSpa. “We use microneedles to make holes in the top layer of your skin, to help stimulate your skin’s healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. This process keeps your skin firm and smooth.”
ThrIVe MedSpa offers a variety of microneedling treatments, including one that uses your own blood cells with plasma-rich platelets (PRP) to rejuvenate the skin.
In the United States the cost of a microneedling with PRP treatment can run anywhere from $500-$1,500 USD per session (or higher), depending on your geographic location and how much of the skin is being treated.
ThrIVe MedSpa is offering a 20% discount to celebrate a summer of pride. The discount is off its regular prices which are:
Microneedling Anti-Aging Hydration: $100 USD
Neck/Face: $125 USD
With BB Glow: $125 USD
Neck/Face: $175 USD
PRP Blood Face: $175 USD
PRP Blood Neck/Face: $275 USD
Morpheus-8 Face: $450 USD
Morpheus-8 Neck/Face: $700 USD
So you can have the basic anti-aging microneedling hydration for your face for as little as $80 USD.
Alvarez said consultation was free, and his team would help you decide which treatment option would be best for you.
To receive the discount just mention “Happy Pride from Out & About”.
What can you expect from a microneedling procedure?
First, you’ll get a topical numbing cream applied to the skin. Then, an electrically-powered pen with microneedles punctures the areas you want treated. If you are having the PRP blood procedure, you’ll have blood drawn and prepared, which will be applied during the procedure.
“It’s totally normal for your skin to appear red after you’ve had microneedling done, but the majority of the redness should subside within 4 hours,” Alvarez said. “However, if a more aggressive treatment was done, the redness may linger for a bit longer.”
He said the treatment won’t slow you down if you are visiting Puerto Vallarta on vacation.
“For the rest of the day, don’t wash the skin, expose it to high heat, or sweat too much (that means no sun, no gym, no hot yoga),” he said. “But you’ll be able to go about your day like normal, just probably best to not have a beach or pool day on the day of your treatment.”
Alvarez said many people will seek microneedling in Vallarta because of the low cost compared to the cost in the USA.
“Many people want to have about three treatments and often will start their first treatment here due to the low cost and professional care,” he said. “And then they may continue microneedling treatments every four to six weeks until you get the results you want. If your goal is scar reduction, you’ll likely need three to six treatments. For collagen induction, three treatments is a good starting point”.
Microneedling can help with:
- acne scars
- surgical scars
- wrinkles and fine lines
- sun damage
- large pores
- uneven skin texture
“The addition of PRP to microneedling may speed up the healing process and stimulate skin renewal, potentially producing better results than microneedling alone,” Alvarez added.
Alvarez is joined by Aesthetics Practitioners that include Levi Hernandez; and Registered Nurses that include Alejandro Leal and Paulina Fuentes; Daniel Chávez or Mikel Slate will greet you and help get you started.
ThrIVe MedSpa will soon be expanding and remodeling, and will be closed from July 31 to Sept. 1, 2023 for the expansion. That new space will allow for additional MedSpa services that will include a V-Beam laser which will stimulate collagen growth, reduce the size of scares and reduce wrinkles.
