After about a year and three months, construction has resumed on D’vine luxury condominiums, located at the intersection of Lázaro Cárdenas and Aguacate in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood.
The news must come as welcome relief for the developer, D’Group, and those who purchased pre-sale units. The 30-unit building consists of a basement, six floors with units having terraces, and a rooftop pool. In total it has nine levels. D’Group has also built D’Terrace, D’Residence, and D’esire.
Construction started on the site around the end of 2021. D’vine was closed in January 2023 by the Federal Attorney General’s Office for Environmental Protection (Profepa). PROFEPA closed a total of 22 buildings under construction between January 2023 and March 2023. The building permit (#3755/21) and was granted on September 28, 2021, in the last week of the last municipal administration. PROFEPA stopped construction on many of the buildings because they did not have certain federal permits.
Many people purchased units during the pre-sale as far back as 2021 – and at that time prices went from the mid-200’s to the $582,320 for the penthouse.
Currently there are 28 out of 30 units that have already been sold.
It’s expected to take another nine months to a year to complete the building. It had originally been scheduled for opening December 2023, and then moved to June 2024. It’s estimated now to be completed by December 2024 or early 2025.
