Charlie Huynh, the visionary behind Let’s Pho, shares his love for the warm welcome he received upon moving to Puerto Vallarta, highlighting it as one of the reasons he cherishes the city.

When Charlie decided to bring the flavors of Vietnam to Puerto Vallarta by opening Let’s Pho, he felt a profound sense of gratitude for the supportive community. Recognizing the importance of giving back, Charlie sought ways to contribute positively to the city that welcomed him so warmly.

This year, Let’s Pho proudly stands as a Gold Sponsor for the annual “So You Think You Can RISE” talent show and fundraiser for RISE (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza), a 50-bed children’s shelter founded in 2001 by Padre Luis and Madre Mari. In an exclusive interview,

Charlie expressed his admiration for RISE, describing it as a “beautiful organization” that provides a safe haven for children to learn and grow.

Huynh, with 18 years of restaurant experience under its belt and a year in its Puerto Vallarta location, has been an active participant in the RISE initiative for two years running.

Charlie shares his motivation for getting involved, stating, “I wanted to make a big impact in the community. When Let’s Pho moved into town, everyone welcomed us with open arms. We are here today because of the support we received from this beautiful place we call home.”

For Charlie, RISE represents more than just a charitable cause; it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger, contributing to the strength and betterment of the community that has embraced Let’s Pho.

The motivation lies in ensuring that no child grows up without guidance and support, and RISE offers a platform for Charlie and his restaurant to make a meaningful impact.

Let’s Pho’s commitment to authenticity goes beyond its culinary offerings. The restaurant strives to bring the experience of Vietnamese home-cooked meals to its patrons, allowing them to embark on a culinary journey without the need for extensive travel.
