It’s no surprise the biggest celebration in Mexico around Halloween is Dia De Muertos – but Halloween is also very popular here and gaining in popularity.
We’ve compiled a list of some of the top places to visit and have fun for Halloween.
First on the list for Halloween night is a fun block party – This is the second year that four businesses have teamed up to sponsor the contest, with $10,000 pesos awarded to the costume contest winners.
The Swedes, Anonimo, One Six One and Blondies are sponsoring the Halloween costume block party (Olas Altas, R. Gomez, Pulpito and Amapas streets), only requiring that you visit each of the establishments on October 31, 2023, between 7 and 11 p.m. to be scored on your costume. The winners will be announced at 11 p.m. at One Six One. First place winner will get $5,000 pesos; Second place, $3,000 pesos and third place gets $2,000 pesos.

Reinas is hosting its Halloween Party on Oct. 31, and opens at 4 p.m.

Puerto Vallarta Walking Tours is hosting a selection of three distinguished tours, meticulously curated to facilitate a comprehensive exploration of the revered Mexican Celebration of the Day of the Dead. For October 31, 2023, they have organized a special Halloween Tour that includes giving candy to local children.
The main focus of this tour is to celebrate “All Saints Day” with the Mexican children who will be parading, seeking candy and gifts. We encourage our tour participants to pre-purchase large bags of candy to distribute.
