Puerto Vallarta’s iconic Zona Romantica is experiencing a wild economic surge as bears emerge from hibernation, flocking to the city for BeefDip’s 20th anniversary, Bearadise, and Mantamar Bear Week. These events are not only attracting thousands of furry attendees but also injecting an estimated $20 million pesos into the local economy.

Leading the charge in giving back, BeefDip organizer Steve Buczek proudly announced that over the past 20 years, they have given more than $1.8 million pesos in donations to Puerto Vallarta’s non-profit organizations.

The spirit of generosity extends further with a benefit auction showcasing donations from local businesses, including coveted items like dinners at Let’s Pho and Marlows. Funds raised will support various community groups, affirming the event’s commitment to philanthropy.

“Donations will be going to different groups this year,” Buczek told OAPV.
