BeefDip, celebrating it’s 20th anniversary in Puerto Vallarta, has announced via its social media that its moving its pool parties from Azul Turquesa Real Experiences Hotel to Blue Chairs.
In previous years the pool parties had been held at Mantamar Beach Club – but this year Mantamar decided to split from BeefDip and host its on bear week parties.
The original announcement to have its pool parties at Azul Turquesa Real Experiences Hotel had created some discussion on social media, with many expressing their desire to not have to take a bus or car to the location – which is about a 20 minute ride from Zona Romantica.
One pool party was held there on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 and appears to have been well attended based on the video posted on Instagram. Another – the Aqua Bear Pool Party – was held on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024. Bus transportation had been arranged from Zona Romantica.
The announcement read:
“Hello Beefdippers, unfortunately the facilities at Azul Turquesa are not quite ready to host BeefDip this year. It’s an amazing location that was hit hard by the last hurricane here. So we have decided to change the location for the upcoming pool parties, and starting with tomorrow’s Tidal Wave fundraiser, they will all be held at Blue Chairs, and they will all be foam pool parties, now with heated water 0, so all you sexy bears can get the best of the #beefdipbearweek experience. All of our team and Blue Chairs’ will be working all night so you can have everything ready by noon. The party will be free for tag holders, $200 MXN donation at the door for others and you will also get a FREE COCKTAIL Bag check and towel rentals will be available and music by the one and only Division 4 (Australia). Azul Turquesa Real Experiences Hotel, located on Carr. Costera a Barra de Navidad km 15, 48300 Puerto Vallarta, Jal., doesn’t have much of a social media or web presence. It was announced in November, 2023, that it would be the new Pool Party venue.

Enjoy our annual fundraising pool party and Qbo Bear Wear’s auction benefiting charities to be disclosed at the event. BeefDip has helped raise over $143,000 CAD to date benefitting different charities through the years. The event includes food & drinks specials for tag holders.
