Foodie alert! The highly-anticipated Restaurant Week returns to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, marking its 20th anniversary this year, May 15 to June 10, 2024.
Inspired by international culinary festivals, the event, organized by the Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group since 2005, brings together 44 restaurants offering a taste of the region’s best cuisine at reduced prices.
Details for this year’s edition were unveiled at a press conference held at Raíz y Maleza restaurant. Jorge Chávez, Executive Director of Restaurant Week, highlighted the special anniversary, emphasizing the festival’s goal of showcasing local and regional flavors through special three-course menus with multiple options per course.
“2024 is a very special year for us, as we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Restaurant Week. This festival aims to bring the best cuisine of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit to both locals and visitors, who can enjoy special three-course menus with three options each at reduced prices,” said Jorge Chávez, executive director of Restaurant Week.
Juan Pablo Hernández, along with the operational and executive directors of Restaurant Week, respectively; Luis Mendoza, director of the Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group; Diego Guerrero, executive chef of Raíz y Maleza; and Ulises Salgado, public relations manager for the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board, all presented information.
“Restaurant Week is a very successful project in Vallarta · Nayarit. This culinary festival is showing its strength, and we’re thrilled to be hosting the twentieth edition of this event. This year, 44 restaurants from all over the Banderas Bay are participating, and more establishments are looking to join this prestigious international event,” said Juan Pablo Hernández, operational director of Restaurant Week.
Restaurant Week, which runs from May 15th to June 10th, 2024, is supported by the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board and the Riviera Nayarit Tourism and Development Board.
Diners can enjoy these culinary experiences at participating restaurants for $459 or $575 pesos (drinks and tips not included).
