Following the guidelines of the legendary founder Don Felipe Camarena and now under the direction of Carlos Camarena, Master Distiller, and his younger sister Jenny Camarena, Master of Operations, this tequila continues to be made in La Alteña, its distillery of origin, ensuring excellence in each one of its expressions: Blanco, Añejo and Reposado.

COCKTAILS TO CELEBRATE

In the words of Jenny Camarena: “The best way to enjoy El Tesoro is alone.” However, for those who want to enjoy this and many more special occasions, whether in a caballito or in a cocktail bar, we present a selection of exclusive cocktails to savor this milestone and exalt the Tequila that makes us stand out worldwide.

“THE CAMARENA CUP”

INGREDIENTS:

2 parts El Tesoro Añejo tequila
½ part amaro liqueur
¼ part aperol liqueur
¾ parts fresh lemon juice
3 drops of dark chocolate:

Add all ingredients to a Boston shaker filled with ice. Shake well, and strain twice into a coupe glass. Decorate with orange peel and that’s it!

“CLASSIC MARGARITA”

INGREDIENTS:

2 parts of The White Treasure
¾ parts fresh lemon juice
¾ parts agave syrup (2 parts agave nectar, 1 part water)
For the rim of the glass:
Pinch of crushed kosher salt
A pinch of ancho chili flakes
Lemon zest

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain over ice. Garnish with a lemon slice (wheel).
