With a deeply Mexican theme, the 13th Vallarta Pride arrives May 17-24, 2026, celebrating color, tradition, pride and inclusion across Puerto Vallarta venues. We’ve got your full guide to all pride events here. If we missed your favorite place and they are having events, let us know.
Vallarta Pride organizers say the event will emphasize pride in being Mexican or living in Mexico, alongside LGBTQ+ community pride. Puerto Vallarta has long welcomed global transplants to what many — including Jalisco Tourism Secretary Michele Fridman — call “the most Mexican port or beach destination in the country.” That’s why this edition’s motto is “The New Era: A Very Mexican Pride.”
Vallarta Pride 2026 expects to top the 40,000 attendees from 2025. The theme has sparked strong buzz. The main parade, a highlight each year, starts at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 21. Expect standout floats with traditional (and sexy) outfits, vibrant colors, regional music, dancing and an enthusiastic community.
The traditional Block Party follows immediately in the Romantic Zone on Venustiano Carranza Street. Guest star Jhonny Caz, the openly gay vocalist of Grupo Firme, headlines. Don your best national attire and sombrero for a fun, “muy mexicano” night.
