The Amazing Race, a CBS Paramount Studio production, was in Puerto Vallarta on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022 with contestants racing around town to complete certain tasks.
In its 34th season, if you are not familiar with the show, a group of contestant teams have a limited budget and embark on a race around the world, with the winning team getting $1 million USD (the first to reach the final destination). They have to complete challenges and get clues that tell them where their next challenge and clue is. The Amazing Race is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award-nominated host Phil Keoghan.
This is at least the second time the show has been to Puerto Vallarta – the first time back in 2010, as noted in this article. And it’s only the third time the show has been in Mexico.
Numerous postings appeared on social media capturing different moments around town, including this one with Plaza Hidalgo became a checkpoint for the Amazing Race, with a bunch of luchadores rushing the ring all at once in part of the challenge.
