During the discussion, the Spanish lawmaker shared his extensive experience in activism and politics, offering valuable perspectives to help local leaders strengthen and promote new public policies for the LGBTQ+ community. Key topics discussed included visibility, healthcare, inclusion, and political communication.
Rivero, who holds a political science degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, expressed his excitement about visiting Puerto Vallarta for the first time and shared his gratitude to the local collectives for organizing the event. He also noted that he will be attending Sayulita Pride, whose pride parade takes place today, Friday, May 29, 2026.
