The Government of the State of Jalisco, through the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Innovation, announced the measures to take in case of a national or international flight.

At the Puerto Vallarta airport, sanitary control filters are being implemented, applying antibacterial gel and taking the temperature to all passengers, in addition to evaluating their itinerary to find out if they will be in a risk zone.

The Ministry of Health stated that to these measures they also added the suspension of cruise ship arrivals for the next 30, with some exceptions. “If there is an arrival of a cruise ship, the passengers and crew would have to have passed the quarantine period and be evacuated immediately to be transferred to their country of origin in a special plane, they are not allowed to be in Puerto Vallarta, this is called a special operation, with all the international and national measures and rules, regarding this type of situation” said Jaime Álvarez Zayas, Specialized Coordinator of Sanitary Regions of the Ministry of Health of the Government of Jalisco.

If you are going on a trip or returning from one, the health control filters established in airports and trucking centers in Jalisco help us prevent more COVID-19 infections.
