The city’s Sexual Diversity Office led an initiative to paint the pride rainbow colors at crosswalks at two key intersections in early the early hours of April 26.
The work took place between 2 a.m. and approximately 6:30 a.m. at locations including Basilio Badillo and the intersection of Ignacio L. Vallarta and Lázaro Cárdenas.

Officials said the painted crosswalks are intended to highlight the presence of the LGBT+ community in public spaces.
The office said the project is part of broader efforts to support a safer and more inclusive environment in the city.
