Avida Market, a new open-air food hall at the corner of Madero and Insurgentes in Zona Romántica, hosted one of the first live events at its new stage Friday night, part of a vendor rollout that has continued steadily since the market opened in early July.

The show, billed as “Uncharted,” featured pianist David Maiocco and vocalist Cate Elizabeth in a set sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka at the Avida Market Stage. The 6:30 p.m. performance came as the market continues to fill out its lineup of restaurants, food stalls and shops on the ground floor of the Avida Residences building.
About half to two-thirds of the market’s vendors appeared open and staffed as of a walk-through this week, with new vendors continuing to move in.

The market is anchored by Evelina, a restaurant from chef-owners Maycoll Calderón and Marifer Durán built around handmade pasta, slow-fermented dough and wood-fired cooking.
According to a commercial leasing listing for the property, Avida Market was designed with 22 total commercial spaces — two anchor restaurants, nine food hall stalls and 11 smaller “island” booths.
Vendors open or announced so far include:
Alú Alú Repostería — bakery and desserts.
Avida Bar — full bar and cocktails.
Chick’In — serves American-style crispy fried chicken, specializing in gourmet crispy chicken sandwiches, tenders, and side items.

Flower Bar — fresh flowers and arrangements.
La Dulce Semilla — candy and sweets.
Le Creperia Villemot — Parisian-style crepe cafe.
Mystery Ice Pops — paletas.
Opa Greek Kouzina — Greek dishes, including salads and other Aegean-inspired plates.
Oscars Mexican Seafood — seafood.
Ramen Express — Korean-style ramen.
Satori — Japanese cuisine.
Silveria Cafe Con Pan — Italian deli counter serving panini and schiacciate sandwiches, cured meats and cheese boards.

The market also plans to have a regular events calendar, including live music and pop-up art exhibitions.
Avida Market is located at Insurgentes 193 in Zona Romántica, on the ground floor of the Avida Residences condominium building.
