The “Academy Awards” of the travel industry selected the green pearl of the Mexican Pacific among their favorite destinations
Puerto Vallarta has been nominated in six different categories in the 2022 Travvy Awards, leaping past last year’s four nominations. The Travvy Awards are known worldwide as the “Academy Awards” of the travel industry in the United States. The Travvy Awards honor the top destinations, suppliers, attractions, airlines, among other sectors of the travel industry, which are selected by those who know them best: travel agents.
Puerto Vallarta has landed nominations in the following six categories:
Best Culinary Destination in Mexico (Nomination No. 43)
Best Destination in Mexico (Nomination No. 52)
Best Honeymoon Destination in Mexico (Nomination No. 55)
Best Tourism Office in Mexico (Nomination No. 61)
Best Destination Wedding Destination in Mexico (Nomination No. 65)
Best Academic Program for Travel Agents (Nomination No. 113)
Voting is now open for all categories where Puerto Vallarta is nominated at https://www.travvyawards.com/vote . You can vote until August 31 and the winners will be announced on November 3 at the renowned awards gala at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina in Florida, USA.
The winners of the prestigious Travvy Award will be featured in Agent@Home magazine as well as on the specialized TravelPulse.com website.
Puerto Vallarta received four awards during the 2021 ceremonies, with gold medals as “Best Honeymoon Destination in Mexico”, “Best Culinary Destination in Mexico” and “Best Tourism Office in Mexico”; as well as silver in the category of “Best Destination in Mexico”, which demonstrated that Puerto Vallarta continues to be the preferred destination for travelers from all over the world.
