Considered the “Academy Awards” of the travel industry in the United States
Puerto Vallarta has been nominated by travel advisors in seven categories in the upcoming Travvy Awards, highlighting the preferences by travel agencies towards this important world-class tourist destination.
Puerto Vallarta has managed to increase the number of nominations compared to previous editions, reflecting the positioning and preference that the destination has with travel specialists in North America and has had a positive impact on the arrival of international tourists in the first half of the year.
The “Travvy Awards” honor the main destinations and travel providers such as: hotels, car rental companies, cruise ships, airlines, wholesalers, among others; which are selected by their main users and connoisseurs: travel agents.
This 2023, Puerto Vallarta is nominated in seven important categories for the prestigious awards, as listed below:
Best Destination in Mexico
Best Honeymoon Destination in Mexico
Best Gastronomic Destination in Mexico
Best Destination for Weddings in Mexico
Best Destination for Weddings- Overall
Best Tourist Office in Mexico
Best Academic Program for Travel Agents
Winners will be announced as every year at the official awards ceremony to be held on November 2, 2023 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In the last edition of the Travvy Awards 2022, Puerto Vallarta won in five of the six nominated categories. These included: Best Gastronomic Destination in Mexico, Best Tourist Office, Best Destination in Mexico, Best Wedding Destination and Best Honeymoon Destination.
