Organizers of the third edition of the Pata Salada cultural and gastronomic festival have announced the full schedule of activities for the event, which will take place on Isla Río Cuale in downtown Puerto Vallarta. The festival runs from Friday, April 17, to Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
During a press conference, festival director Beto Sempere explained that Pata Salada will feature three main stages—Mar, Luna, and Sol—spread across the island, from Oscar’s Restaurant to the Vallarta Institute of Culture.
Over the three-day event, attendees can enjoy open-air performances by more than 100 artists and local talents across music, dance, sports, and gastronomy. Entry is free, though attendees can purchase a VIP wristband for $3,000 MXN. This pass includes:
- An open bar from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Access to a painting class at Le Bistro and a yoga class.
- A 25% discount at Grupo La Palapa restaurants (Le Bistro, El Dorado, and La Palapa).
“El Rostro de Vallarta” Pageant

The Pata Salada 2026 festival will also host El Rostro de Vallarta, a contest rewarding individuals who embody the city’s identity through beauty, public speaking, and stage presence. The competition rounds will take place at the Sol Stage daily from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Prizes include:
- 1st Place: $5,000 MXN
- 2nd Place: $3,000 MXN
- 3rd Place: $1,000 MXN
The festival is supported by the Vallarta Institute of Culture and sponsored by River Café, Le Bistro, Art Walk Gallery, and Starbucks.

Sol Stage: The busiest hub for live bands, ensembles, and dance performances.


Luna Stage: Primarily focused on DJs and urban dance.

Mar Stage: A mix of soloists, violinists, and DJs.

Emerging Stage: Part of an immersive experience featuring mobile performances moving throughout the island.
