Miss Conception
Home For The Holidays
Are we ready for a wild Holiday Show from the mistress of bizarre, let alone costume and wig changes. Yes! We are thrilled with her new show celebrating her tenth anniversary here with highlights from all her past shows. This production is worthy of everyone’s visit very soon.
Now it is time for our Female Delusionist® Miss Conception to jingle some bells.
Sensational Sutton Lee Seymour [Auntie Social show continuing here] played emcee as a man, Prescott, and brought out Branden & James who portrayed a cut from their ongoing Lady Gaga Songbook presentation “[You and I] Cherry Pie”. Branden hit the finishing note so high and clear that the crowd went crazy. Lady Zen appeared and sang “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps” made famous by Doris Day and thousands others. She swung that tune back and forth, ever-smiling.
Finishing, Sutton Lee sang “I’m Gonna Live Until I Die”: “Before my number’s up, I’m gonna fill my cup.” Good thoughts for these times.
The Holiday Cabaret started as Miss Conception entered into view in solid red welcoming everyone to the house for celebration of the season. “Tickle Me Under the Mistletoe.” Humor flowed with this simple request: “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.” Trusted longtime assistant and discarded wardrobe collector Max Castillo once again discharged his duties but also appeared as costumed accessories to Miss C’s theme. Here he was a giant gray hippo dancing with a bedazzled Miss C. Red, white, silver and gold are the show theme colors.
She proudly revealed that she had learned her first song in Spanish [after ten yers] and wished all “Feliz Navidad” and proceeded to sing it a la José Feliciano, shifting to English then back to Spanish. She must be very proud of her accomplishment. “I am so much fun” she retorted. That mean one, Mr. Grinch, was not far away. But he was tossed back when Miss Conception delighted all with a sexy “Santa Baby”, then “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and a Barbra Streisand-inspired speedy “Jingle Bells”.
Miss C. rocked out with “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” sending rhythmic joy into everyone’s hearts. She bowed to one of her legends Fay McKay with “12 Drinks of Christmas” [on YouTube], a clever takeoff with ‘Days’ becoming ‘Drinks’. As the song progressed, the vocals became slurry. Lo and behold, in tropical Puerto Vallarta, there blasted wintery weather with “Let It Snow”. Finishing this evening, Miss Conception gave everyone present a Christmas gift of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, one of the new classics of the Holiday Season. She asks for very little this year, Only You!
