July 1 Show at Incanto Stars El Diamante, Salvatore and New Continental Mariachi
Join host Nacho as Alberto Cuevas, Salvatore the Pianist, the children’s dance group Locos Por La Rumba, and the New Continental Mariachi take you on a magical journey through musical Mexico at this special show at Incanto on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Mexico Magico will feature some of Puerto Vallarta’s most talented performers who will perform a variety of musical and dance numbers that showcases the rich Mexican culture heritage.
Nacho Granados is hosting the event. Nacho is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina and is a local singer and entertainer. He took his first music lesson when he was 18-yers-old, and did his first show when he was 22. He’s performed in musical theater as well as had his on one-on-one shows at clubs and restaurants. In 2011 he moved to Mexico.
Alberto Cuevas, known as “El Diamante” , is a singer from Puerto Vallarta who has delighted his audience for more than 15 years with the best of traditional Mexican music.
Singing has always come naturally to Cuevas – his ability was inherited from both his mother and father, who met as young singers. His mother was singing Ranchera music, and his father, Bolero. Both genres are types of mariachi music. His father also played a requinta (a musical instrument similar to a guitar but one that produces higher pitched sounds).
He started singing when he was 13-years-old at a birra restaurant in his hometown colonia of Ixtapa, Puerto Vallarta.
Salvatore is a cultural ambassador and professional pianist with more than 35-years in the world of music. Salvatore is widely recognized not only at the regional and state level, but also on an international level. He was recently awarded with the recognition of “El Pianista del Bicentenario.”
You’ll be delighted with performances from the the children’s dance group Locos Por La Rumba. This professional dance school in Puerto Vallarta has created a space for all artists and the community, with its children performing in a wide variety of events and specials throughout Puerto Vallarta.
Mariachi Nuevo Continental will amaze you with their performances. This mariachi group has been around Puerto Vallarta since February 2005. It has performed world-wide including Europe. The group offers a variety of musical types including classical music, instrumental, dance, rancheras, and even polkas.
