Award-winning Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas drew a crowd of more than 7,000 fans Friday night, June 19, for a free concert at the Vibra Jalisco Fan Zone (Zona Fan) in Puerto Vallarta.
The performance was part of the ongoing festivities celebrating the FIFA World Cup 2026. Organized by the State Entertainment Agency (Agencia Estatal de Entretenimiento), the event saw fans gather to sing along to every hit performed by the multi-Grammy and Latin Grammy winner.
Backed by her live band, Venegas took the stage around 9 p.m. and shared her excitement with the audience. “What a beauty to see you, how lovely it is to be here,” Venegas told the crowd. “It is a true joy for us to come and sing for you. I hope you enjoy it, that we have a beautiful time, and that you sing a lot.”
During the two-hour concert, the artist—who holds one Grammy and 10 Latin Grammys—delivered a setlist packed with career-spanning hits, including “Lento,” “Andar Conmigo,” “Algo Está Cambiando,” and “Limón y Sal.” She closed the night with a performance of “El Presente.”
The concert is part of a broader lineup of cultural events organized by the State Entertainment Agency to run alongside the World Cup matches. The upcoming concert schedule at the Fan Zone includes Los Auténticos Decadentes on June 21, Mägo de Oz on June 25, and Ximena Sariñana on July 4.
The complete schedule of events is available on the official Facebook pages of the Agencia Estatal de Entretenimiento and Domosfera Puerto Vallarta.
