A new LGBTQ+ bar has opened in Puerto Vallarta – the long time bartender Jorge Gonzalez at Hotel Mercurio has opened his own bar, Jorge’s Bar.
The new bar is located in the heart of Plaza Romy in the Romantic Zone, right across from Paco’s Ranch, this new hotspot sits perfectly beneath Twisted Palms and next to Aloha.
Jorge was a popular and long serving bartender at Hotel Mercurio, which closed in May, 2024.
“Thank you very much to all my friends for motivating me, supporting me and helping me achieve one more dream,” Jorge said on Facebook.

Happy Hour at the bar is every day from 3 to 8 p.m. with house liquors for $50 pesos or two beers for $50 pesos (Pacifico or Corona).
