Anonimo, as it is popularly known, was opened in 2009 by Dan Bacchus. It later changed hands in 2017, and has been owned since then by Roger Allen and Bryan Stocks. Going strong with many improvements over the years, this incredible establishment is the premiere video bar in all of Puerto Vallarta.
Strolling up to Anonimo Video Bar PV at C. Rodolfo Gomez 157, you will encounter a cool patio with a giant rainbow flag in front welcoming all who enter. The lower level bar is eye candy for the soul, large video screens are in constant motion with great music emanating in every direction. The ceiling is a visual delight, with incredible modern artwork covering the entirety of the space. It’s one of Puerto Vallarta gay bars most popular.
An always friendly, and just as cute bartender stands ready to pour your favorite drink from the well stocked bar directly behind where he stands. A welcoming atmosphere permeates, and patrons visit freely with one another.
Climbing a circular staircase you arrive on the second level which has a similarly well stocked bar and equally dynamic feel. The room juts out to a front balcony that is great for watching any scenery that may be passing below. A few steps from the balcony, is an expansive patio with eclectic art painted on a large wall at one end. Here you will find incredibly comfortable seating,and a surrounding view of the changing landscape of Puerto Vallarta.
One more staircase takes you to the top level of Anonimo, and an intimate bar with plush seating. Quieter and darker, with a more relaxed vibe, it is the perfect spot to chat in a sensual setting. The balcony, being three stories up, catches a nice breeze blowing in from the Pacific, a short distance away. Gazing out into the night, the lights of Rodolfo Gomez and Olas Altas shine up magically from below.
