Mexican pop superstar Fey will perform at the official Vallarta Pride Block Party on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Organizers confirmed the performance today, May 15, 2026, via their instagram account in a public post, after months of speculation surrounding a possible appearance by Paulina Rubio, another Mexican icon.
The concert, presented as part of Vallarta Pride 2026, will be free and open to the public. The performance is expected begin at 6 p.m. and take place on Calle Lázaro Cárdenas following the annual Pride parade, one of the city’s largest LGBTQ+ events of the year.
Fey (born María Fernanda Blázquez Gil in Mexico City) is an iconic Mexican pop and electronic singer. She skyrocketed to fame in the mid-1990s, becoming a massive teen idol across Latin America with hit dance-pop anthems like Media Naranja, Azúcar Amargo, and Muévelo.
In addition to Fey, organizers have confirmed that Johnny Caz — one of the vocalists of the popular regional Mexican group Grupo Firme — will appear during the Vallarta Pride Block Party.
Caz, one of the most visible openly gay performers in regional Mexican music, is expected to headline entertainment during the massive street celebration following the Pride parade.
The Block Party has become one of the signature events of Vallarta Pride, drawing thousands of locals and visitors into the streets of the Zona Romántica each year for live entertainment, drag performances and dancing following the parade. Last year’s celebration featured Mexican pop group JNS.
Puerto Vallarta has grown into one of Mexico’s best-known LGBTQ+ travel destinations, with Vallarta Pride expanding significantly since its founding in 2013. The annual celebration now attracts international visitors from the United States, Canada and across Mexico.
This year’s Vallarta Pride carries the theme “La Nueva Era: Un Pride Muy Mexicano,” with organizers emphasizing Mexican culture, music and traditions throughout the weeklong festival.

Vallarta Pride is scheduled for May 17–24 and includes cultural events, nightlife programming, health initiatives, athletic competitions and community gatherings throughout Puerto Vallarta.
