First Death For COVID-19 In PV

The person who was previously diagnosed with COVID-19 in Puerto Vallarta was a 33 years old male.

Last Wednesday a 33-year-old man with the last name “Sandoval” passed away after being diagnosed with COVID-19 in Puerto Vallarta. He was a sales promoter who worked at the airport.

The 42 Clinic of the Mexican Social Security Institute of the city was in charge of giving attention to the now death, it should be noted that it was the first case of coronavirus detected in this municipality.

It should be noted that the Jalisco Health Secretariat (SSJ) detailed that there are 99 cases in total in this State, of these people, seven are hospitalized, two of them are in a stable status, three are in a delicate status, one person is in serious condition and a person is listed as very serious.

The rest have mild symptoms, so they are in isolation at home. The discarded cases are a total of 659 and there is a number of 496 suspected cases.

The company for which the deceased person worked issued a statement to the workers so in case of presenting any symptoms, they isolate themselves and contact the attention numbers.
