A long-held tradition in Puerto Vallarta continued this Christmas morning on the beach in front of Blue Chairs Bar, Restaurant and Hotel. John Ramsey captured these happy smiles as children got to pick a Christmas gift hanging from the palm trees.
Residents and visitors give toys and money for toys so that each child can receive at least one gift for Christmas. The children and their families arrive early and form a line, and at 9 a.m. on Christmas morning they are allowed to pick one gift for each child.
