An amazing evening was held on November 25, 2023 at Hacienda San Angel at the first annual Sula Society Bow Wow Gala raising pesos for dogs in need.
The event included an exquisite dinner, live performance by Kim Kuzma and Mariachi La Joya de Mexico and a live auction conducted by John Curley.
A sold out event insured funds for the Sula Society, which provides shelter, veterinary care, rehabilitation and other services for animals in the Puerto Vallarta area.
The shelter currently provides a sanctuary for more than 300 dogs.
Sponsors for the dinner included Hotel Mercurio, Tequila Fortaleza, Pawsitively Perfect Dog Care, Hacienda San Angel, Tequila Arette, Paul Trimmer, Puerto Vallarta Aesthetics and the Sound Waves Art Foundation.
“The Sula Society is crucial in our community as they care for over 300 dogs, significantly higher than most local rescues. Despite their commendable efforts, they face financial constraints that limit their ability to continue this vital work,” said Laura McGregor. “We appreciate the support of our fantastic sponsors and all of the patrons who enjoyed the evening.”
