A portion of Basilio Badillo street, running between Insurgentes and Aguacate in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, has reopened after months of work on water and sewer lines, and repaving.
The Basilio Badillo project was originally slated to take two months, but the street has been closed for four months.
Basilio Badillo has been under construction since April, 2024. It was part of a planned paving project, with the original cost of the project set at $4,175,000 pesos.
The winning bid for the work was awarded to Rodherick Palacios Bautista on February 26th by the Vallarta City Council.
In addition to the street repaving project, Seapal also repaired (or replaced) water and sewer lines. Seapal did similar work on another portion of the same street back in 2023.
