The Municipal Government of Puerto Vallarta, through the Vallarta Institute of Culture, launched PV Art Week 2026 with the “Public Gallery of the Port” on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 15, along the Malecón. The inaugural event showcased the work of dozens of local artists, who were present to exhibit pieces in fine arts, sculpture, jewelry, and apparel, accompanied by live music. The open-air installation stretched from the “Hombre Come Piedras” (Rock Eater) sculpture to Los Arcos.
PV Art Week will feature various activities across several venues throughout the city until Wednesday, April 22, 2026. These include exhibitions, talks, art walks, artistic interventions, concerts, and workshops.
